An absorbing debut from Ho Miu-Ki and fresh from its Asian debut in September, the film probes the question about the good, bad and the ugly destructiveness of “romance scams.” Through the charming performances of famous comedy actress Sandra Ng (CHILLI LAUGH STORY, TWINKLE TWINKLE LUCKY STARS) and Cheung Tin-Fu, we see the unlikely emotional connection formed between a lonely young man and a vibrant older woman through an on-line dating app.

Grâce aux charmantes performances de Cheung Tin-fu et de la célèbre actrice comique Sandra Ng (CHILLI LAUGH STORY, TWINKLE TWINKLE LUCKY STARS), nous assistons au lien émotionnel improbable qui se forme entre un jeune homme solitaire et une femme plus âgée par le biais d’une app de rencontre.

She has written screenplays for films such as "La Comédie humaine", "Naked Ambition 2" and "The Mermaid".She was nominated for Best Screenplay at the 36th Hong Kong Film Awards for “The Mermaid.”
"Love Lies" is her directorial debut.
