SYNOPSIS:
For decades, Cheung Hing’s dessert shop has attracted customers with his signature red bean soup. When Hing’s wife dies, his daughter May leaves her flight attendant job to help the shop, but Hing’s inability to communicate with his children puts the business in jeopardy.
Like family, red bean soup is such a staple in Chinese culture that it’s easy to take it for granted. In this bittersweet drama, a family divided by tragedy learn that the key to enduring legacy is to accept change. As one character says, “It’s not about the place; it’s the people.”
