SYNOPSIS

Ten Shimoyama
Born 1966 in Aomori Prefecture, northern Japan. Since making his debut as a music video director at the age of 24 with Toshinobu Kubota's “Be Wanabee,” Shimoyama has directed music videos and live videos for many of Japan's top artists, including Keisuke Kuwata, Southern All Stars, B'z, and EXILE.
Shimoyama also worked on “Another Heaven”, “The New Kindaichi Files” and numerous TV commercials for industry majors including Panasonic and SONY. He made his feature film debut with “Cute” in 1997. Since then, Shimoyama has worked on “St. John's Wort”, “Shinobi – Heart Under Blade”, “Kikaider: The Ultimate Human Robot”, etc. His Netflix original drama “Erased”, is currently distributed in 191 countries around the world.
