SYNOPSIS
The COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020 signaled the shuttering and downsizing of life as we once knew it and certainly Chak is no exception as he’s forced to be the sole employee of his small cleaning business. Overwhelmed and barely making ends meet, he seeks additional help, hiring young single mother Candy. Chak finds it challenging to take Candy seriously and is suspicious of her odd ways and appearance but also notices her hard work and dedication—and also sees glimmers of hope through her seven-year-old daughter.
With Chak being increasingly dubious of the ever-industrious Candy, his ongoing financial challenges, and the passing of his elderly mother, he comes to a crossroads as his new normal is no longer sustainable.
