SYNOPSIS:
If you can choose to return to your loved ones as an inanimate object after your death, what would you choose? Based on a novel by Naoko Higashi, this omnibus film presents the choices made in four different stories.
The question of what awaits us after death has always fascinated us. Writer-director Kahori Higashi offers an inventive twist to the age-old reincarnation mythos with this clever and moving omnibus film. With these four stories of “inanimate object reincarnation”, the film asks us to rethink the idea of “sentimental value” and what each object in our lives means to us.
