SYNOPSIS

Two best friends enter the entertainment industry during the golden age of 1980s Hong Kong, but fate propels them to different levels of success over the next decades. Featuring new and veteran actors from different eras of Hong Kong cinema, including legendary kung fu star Ti Lung and Loletta Lee.

DIRECTOR: Tracy Choi

Choi Ian Sin (Tracy) is a film director born and raised in Macau. She became involved in videography during high school, and since then, she has developed a passion for filmmaking. Aspiring to be a film director, she left Macau to study filmmaking in Taiwan. After graduating from Taiwan, she returned to Macau and worked in television, as well as producing short films and documentaries.

In 2012, she won an award at the Macao International Video and Film Festival for her documentary, "I'm Here," she was also shortlisted and invited to screen at many other Asian and European film festivals. As part of her master's graduation project at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Tracy completed "Sometimes Naive," which won the best student's film award at the 8th First International Film Festival (First IFF).

The film 'Farming on the Wasteland,' directed by her, received the Judges' Special Award at the 2014 Macao International Video and Film Festival. Tracy’s first feature film “Sisterhood,” was chosen as part of the 1st Macau International Film Festival competition and was awarded the Macau Audience Award. Additionally, she has received two nominations for the 36th Hong Kong Film Award and has been shortlisted and awarded at multiple international film festivals.
